Philipa heads up Sustainability and Impact. She is responsible for the design and implementation of the Sustainability Strategy at Oryx.

Before joining, Philipa served as Head of Sustainability at Horizonte Minerals, a nickel exploration company. Previously, she held various positions including Head of Sustainability at Golden Star Resources and various environment, health and safety manager roles at Rio Tinto, Harmony Gold, Bendigo Mining, Goldfields and North Limited.

Philipa holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Environmental Biology from Curtin University of Technology. She is a Chartered Professional of Environment  with the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a certified Environmental Auditor with Quality Society of Australasia, and certified as a Director by Corporate Directors International.
