Deepak Malik
Deepak is a Senior Advisor at Oryx.
Deepak has extensive senior executive experience spanning investment management and natural resources. He most recently served as the CEO of Arise B.V, a leading investor in the Sub-Saharan African financial services sector. Prior to that, he was Head of Southern Africa Office and Head of Financial Institutions at Norfund. Deepak has also previously served as the Regional Representative for the Danish Government’s Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU), acted as Managing Director at Development Bank of Zambia, and held senior management roles at Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines.
Deepak currently acts as a board member on the boards of Ecobank, Zambia National Commercial Bank, Grindrod and is an investment committee member at South Suez Capital.
