Philipa leads Sustainability & Impact at Oryx. She is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of the Sustainability & Impact strategy and processes.

Prior to Oryx, Philipa held previously numerous senior sustainability roles, including NED and Chair of Sustainability Committee at Mkango Resources, NED and Chair of Corporate Responsibility Committee at Envirogold Global, Head of Sustainability at Horizonte Minerals, Head of Sustainability at Golden Star Resources and various environment, health and safety manager roles at Rio Tinto, Harmony Gold, Bendigo Mining, Goldfields and North Limited.

Philipa holds a Master of Science (Natural Resources) and a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Biology) (Honors) from Curtin University of Technology. She is a Chartered Professional of Environment with the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a certified Environmental Auditor with Quality Society of Australasia, and certified as a Director by Corporate Directors International.
